Exploring the bay, rivers, and streams on a kayak will assure you an unforgettable experience that big boats cannot offer. The kayak will take you to each foot of rocky mountains, white sand beaches wrapping quiet and peaceful villages, legendary caves, green paddies stretching to the horizon and vivid nature. If you are a kayak enthusiast, hereunder is the list of top most-wanted destinations in Vietnam that you should set sails at least once in life.

Can Tho River

As you discover Can Tho River by a kayak, you will have a chance to see the deep canal at Hung Phu ward, especially in the strong winds, many boats and ships traveling to Ninh Kieu wharf and My Tho River created large waves in the water. Besides, you can also enjoy the classic Southern Vietnam culinary as fruit wine, the grilled frog with vegetable salad and dressing, grilled shrimp with salt pepper. Can Tho River feels endless and you go ahead in the waves under the red sun which is falling behind the mountains. Small kayak seems to become smaller as you continued upstream to Can Tho River.

Cai River

Exploring the Cai River, Nha Trang with a small kayak, visitors can enjoy the fresh air, tour the organic farm and discover the local life of people living along the river bank. You can also move to the center Thap Ba hot springs to relax and enjoy the romantic songs of the beautiful coastal city.

Lan Ha bay

Lan Ha Bay is located in the east of Cat Ba island. This is a very quiet gulf of about 400 islands making up a large nature painting.

Whilst kayaking, visitors can wriggle through the canyon in the farm, visit the dreamlike coves or simply watch the colorful coral blue waters and relax on the beach for sunbathing.

Also awarded as “ The Kingdom Cave” with diverse terrain, Phong Nha- Ke Bang is a wonderful destination for those passionate about the subject of this sailing adventure. The kayak will take you to each corner of mountains and streams to admire those mysterious limestone caves.

Halong Bay

To discover the fullness of cliffs with numerous cliffs, legendary limestone grottoes, paddle through islets, hidden caves and lagoons, unspoiled beaches and floating fishing villages in Halong Bay, the best way is kayaking. Kayaks go where other big boats cannot. Depending on trip length, visitors have different kayak route and time frame.

There are plenty options for guests to discover Halong Bay, either joining kayaking tours to admire the scenery in the Vung Vieng fishing village or bamboo boat to visit the masterpiece of breathtaking nature in a less visited corner of Halong Bay which has been recognized as a UNESCO’s World Heritage.

Undoubtedly, Halong Bay is a perfect place for kayakers because the water is calm, the current is fine and the wind is not too strong.
