3-Day Ha Long & Lan Ha Bay with Bhaya Soul

The first day of the Bhaya Soul journey unfolds toward the Ba Ham Lake area, located in the border of both Halong & Lan Ha Bay. Known for its calm waters and enclosed lagoons connected by narrow tunnels, the area offers a peaceful setting surrounded by rich vegetation and diverse wildlife native to the bay.

Upon arrival, time is scheduled to explore the Ba Ham Lake area by kayak. Guests glide across emerald waters, passing through sheltered passages and open lakes, with opportunities to pause along a private beach and take in the quiet rhythm of the surroundings.

Back on board, the itinerary continues with a complimentary wellness session, including a 10-minute herbal foot ritual followed by a 30-minute wellness treatment. Set against the serene backdrop of Ha Long Bay, the experience allows the body to gradually unwind after the day’s activities.

Later in the afternoon, guests may choose to swim or relax in the onboard heated, all-season pool, where 360-degree views of the bay provide a gentle connection to the surrounding landscape.

As evening approaches, cocktails and gourmet canapés are served in the lounge or on the pool deck, timed with the changing colors of the sunset over Ha Long Bay.

The day concludes with a ‘sleep well’ meditation session held under the stars, offering a quiet transition into the night and preparing guests for a restful sleep on board.

The second day of the Bhaya Soul journey continues toward Viet Hai Village, located within Cat Ba National Park in Lan Ha Bay and home to a small, self-sufficient community of local residents. Surrounded by dense jungle and protected by high mountain ranges, the village offers a quiet insight into a way of life shaped by fishing, farming, and close connection to the land.

Upon arrival, guests explore Viet Hai Village by bicycle or electric cart, traveling along village paths and coastal routes while observing daily life. The excursion also introduces Bhaya Cruises’ community initiatives before continuing to Bhaya Café, where guests can relax with views of open fields dotted with grazing buffalo. Time is set aside to enjoy a refreshing “mojitea” or take part in preparing bánh cuốn, a traditional Northern Vietnamese dish.

The itinerary then proceeds to Cua Van Floating Village, a long-established floating community where generations of fishing families have lived and worked on the water. Many residents remain rooted here, preserving traditions closely tied to Ha Long Bay.

At Cua Van, guests explore the area by kayak or traditional rowing boat operated by local residents, passing floating houses and visiting the Cua Van Floating Culture Center while observing daily activities on the water in one of the bay’s most distinctive settings.

As night falls, the day concludes on board with squid fishing beneath the stars, offering a calm and unhurried end to the day before the vessel settles in for the evening.

The final day begins in the Tien Ong Cave area, a quieter and lesser-known part of Ha Long Bay located on Cai Tai Island. Situated just above sea level, the cave is surrounded by untouched landscapes and features an array of ancient stalactites and stalagmites that reflect the bay’s enduring natural formations.

In the early morning, guests take part in a mindful walking meditation within Tien Ong Cave. The slow-paced experience allows time to move through the cave’s chambers while taking in its archaeological significance and tranquil atmosphere.

After returning on board, the morning continues with a tea ceremony held on the sundeck. As Ha Long Bay gradually awakens, guests learn about the cultural heritage behind this ceremonial practice while watching the limestone karsts and emerald waters soften in the light of sunrise.

At 10:00 AM, the journey comes to a close with cruise disembarkation, concluding the Bhaya Soul experience as the ship returns to shore.
