Mr. Nguyen Van Thao, Bhaya Group’s Operations Manager based in Halong Bay, is an excellent member who has been working with the company for 8 years. Thao has seen Bhaya Group from its early days through its various stages of becoming the leading cruise operator in Halong Bay.

What do you find the most interesting in your position and job as Bhaya Group’s Operations Manager?

When I first started working with Bhaya 8 years ago, Halong Bay overnight cruise trip was still an unknown in Vietnam travel industry. I am grateful to have the opportunity to contribute in developing overnight cruise industry in Halong Bay, giving travellers a fresh new way of exploring this World Heritage Sites. What I love the most about my job is the cultural experience brought by thousands of international passengers each year.

What outstanding points can customers expect in Bhaya Group’s onboard service?

As the largest cruise operators in Halong Bay, I believe Bhaya Group has one of the most excellent operating system based on our deep knowledge and experience in hospitality services. With 3 cruises lines: Bhaya Classic, The Au Co and Legend Halong, we offer various choices from giant luxury ships to private small concept cruise boats.

What I am most proud as an Operation Manager is our onboard crew. The key to our success over the past 8 years is our 300 staffs who work hard with passion every day on board and put passengers’ satisfaction as their first priority.

Having been working with Bhaya Group for 8 years, what do you love the most in the working environment and staffs’ bonding?

Bhaya Group provides a professional and friendly working environment where staffs are given room to sharpen their skills, learn and grow. All our onboard staff spends 24 hours per day and 26 days per month cruising in the Bay with each other. Therefore, even after work, it feels like we’re family members who always support each other more than just college.
