“Save the Langur” Kick-off Event by Bhaya Group

With substantial effort to support sustainable tourism in Halong Bay, Bhaya Group and the HG-Holdings Foundation will launch a new campaign in association with the Cat Ba Langur Conservation Project on February 21, 2017.

With substantial effort to support sustainable tourism in Halong Bay, Bhaya Group and the HG-Holdings Foundation will launch a new campaign in association with the Cat Ba Langur Conservation Project on February 21, 2017. The event aims to raise funds, and awareness, for the much loved but endangered Cat Ba Langur.
As one of the rarest primates in Vietnam, the Cat Ba langur has also been included in the world’s 25 most endangered primates list. The first step of the campaign involves selling specially designed Cat Ba Langur toys and fridge magnets, with 50% of the profits going directly to the Cat Ba Langur Conservation Project.
“We are in the unique position to generate widespread awareness for the Cat Ba Langur Conservation Project, and we are proud to stand as representatives for this cause,” said Lý Thụy Huỳnh Như, managing director of Bhaya Cruises.
To mark the start of the campaign, a kick-off event will be organized with location and time as following:
Location: Bhaya Group’s cruise center, Block no. 08, 09, 10, Tuan Chau International Port, Halong Bay, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam.
Time: 10.30 am to 12.00 am, 21th February, 2017.
