DAY 1 - HANOI - HALONG BAY
Cruise Departure: 12:00 PM
(*) If you book a transfer from Hanoi, transportation will start between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, depending on your pick-up location. The drive to Halong usually takes around 2.5 hours.
In case you want to schedule the Halong cruise on the same day of landing at Noi Bai airport, the flight landing time should be around 6:00 - 7:00 AM at the latest (and earlier if it's an international flight and you need to go through customs).
The journey begins with cruising into the heart of Ha Long Bay, where the first shore excursion takes guests to Me Cung Cave on Lom Bo Island. Located 25 meters above sea level, Me Cung Cave (also known as the Maze Cave)features winding chambers adorned with ancient stalactites. From its entrance, guests can enjoy panoramic views overlooking the emerald waters and limestone formations of the bay.
After returning to Bhaya Legend, the cruise continues toward Luon Cave. Guests embark on traditional rowing boats to pass through this water cave, observing intricate karst formations and limestone walls while listening to local stories associated with this small yet distinctive site.
As the afternoon transitions into evening, onboard activities begin with the Masterchef “Ha Long Bay Edition.” Guests are invited to try their hand at preparing authentic Vietnamese dishes and watch a fruit-carving demonstration by the chefs, set against the backdrop of Ha Long Bay at sunset.
The remainder of the evening is spent at leisure on board, allowing time to relax and take in the tranquil surroundings of the bay.
DAY 2 - HALONG BAY
The day begins with a shore excursion to Thien Cung Cave, located on Dau Go Island and rising 25 meters above sea level. Entering through a narrow, jungle-covered passage, guests discover a richly decorated cavern filled with stalactites and stalagmites shaped like mythical figures, giving rise to Thien Cung Cave name, the “Heavenly Palace.”
The exploration continues to nearby Dau Go Cave, the largest grotto in Ha Long Bay. Its expansive chambers, dramatic rock formations, and historical associations offer insight into both the geological evolution and cultural heritage of the region.
Later in the day, the cruise proceeds to Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most renowned cave in Ha Long Bay. Walking along its 500-meter paved passageway, guests encounter vast chambers adorned with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites, creating one of the bay’s most impressive natural landscapes.
Back on board, the afternoon transitions into a relaxed onboard experience with a fruit carving demonstration led by the chefs. Guests are welcome to observe or participate while enjoying views of Ha Long Bay as the sun sets.
The evening is spent at leisure on board, surrounded by the calm atmosphere of the bay.
DAY 3 - HALONG BAY - BAI TU LONG BAY
The day begins with a visit to Titov Island, a small yet iconic stop in Ha Long Bay. Guests may follow the established pathway to the island’s summit for panoramic views over the surrounding limestone karsts and emerald waters, or spend time on the white sand beach for swimming and relaxation.
The cruise then proceeds to Vung Vieng Fishermen Village, a quiet floating community that reflects the traditional lifestyle of local fishing families. Guests explore the village by traditional rowing boats, observing daily activities on the water and learning about local methods of sailing and casting fishing nets.
As evening approaches, guests return to the ship and take part in a squid-fishing activity on board. Guided by the crew, this hands-on experience offers a glimpse into a traditional nighttime fishing practice commonly used by local fishermen.
The remainder of the evening is spent at leisure on board, surrounded by the calm waters of Ha Long Bay.
DAY 4 - BAI TU LONG BAY - LAN HA BAY
The day continues with a visit to Thien Canh Son Cave, a large cavern composed of three main chambers. Guests follow a forested pathway that crosses a cliff face to reach the cave entrance. Inside, a variety of stalactites and stalagmites form shapes reminiscent of lotus flowers, baby elephants, seals, and other natural figures, creating a dramatic and immersive cave experience.
The cruise then proceeds to Ba Ham Lake, located on Dau Be Island, right in the border of Halong and Lan Ha Bay. This secluded area is accessed through a series of natural tunnels and opens into calm, enclosed waters. Surrounded by limestone formations, orchids, and diverse wildlife, Ba Ham Lake offers a quiet setting to experience the bay’s unspoiled landscape.
Guests explore the area by kayak, gliding through emerald waters, passing hidden lakes, and taking time to relax amid the tranquil surroundings.
After returning on board, guests are invited to unwind with Bhaya’s complimentary herbal foot bath, a traditional treatment made from medicinal plants and natural herbs designed to relieve muscle fatigue and promote relaxation.

DAY 5 - HALONG BAY - HANOI
Cruise Disembarkation: 10:00 AM
(*) If you book a return transfer to Hanoi or Noi Bai Airport, you will arrive in central Hanoi/ the airport at around 1:30 - 2:30 PM (depending on traffic conditions and the type of transport). Please take these times into consideration when booking your onward flight, train, or bus to your next destination.
The morning begins on the sundeck with a Tai Chi session, offering a gentle way to awaken the body and mind as the sun rises over the UNESCO-listed seascape. Practiced against the calm waters and limestone karsts, this session provides a peaceful start to the final day on the bay.
Afterward, the cruise visits Tien Ong Cave, a lesser-known and tranquil cave located approximately 5 meters above sea level on Cai Tai Island. Inside, guests explore a quiet space filled with naturally formed stalactites and stalagmites, softly illuminated by natural light. With fewer visitors than many other caves in Ha Long Bay, Tien Ong Cave offers a calm and reflective atmosphere to conclude the journey.
Guests then return to the vessel to prepare for check-out and disembarkation at 10:00 AM, bringing the cruise experience to a close.
