Route Map
DAY 1 - HANOI - HALONG BAY
Cruise Departure: 12:00 PM
(*) If you book a transfer from Hanoi, transportation will start between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, depending on your pick-up location. The drive to Halong usually takes around 2.5 hours.
In case you want to schedule the Halong cruise on the same day of landing at Noi Bai airport, the flight landing time should be around 6:00 - 7:00 AM at the latest (and earlier if it's an international flight and you need to go through customs).
The first day of the Bhaya Legend journey unfolds in the heart of Ha Long Bay, with the cruise arriving at Cua Van Floating Village. Known for its long-established fishing community, the village is made up of vibrant floating homes set against calm waters and dramatic limestone formations, offering insight into a traditional way of life shaped by the bay.
Upon arrival, guests explore Cua Van Floating Village by kayak or traditional rowing boat operated by local residents. The route passes floating houses and leads to the Cua Van Floating Culture Center, allowing time to observe daily activities and learn more about the heritage of one of Ha Long Bay’s most distinctive communities.
Later in the day, the itinerary continues on board with a cooking demonstration led by the ship’s chef. Guests are introduced to the preparation of fresh Vietnamese spring rolls, gaining a hands-on understanding of a well-known local delicacy as the cruise settles into a relaxed afternoon pace.
DAY 2 - HALONG BAY
The second day of the Bhaya Legend journey begins at Tien Ong Cave, a quieter and lesser-known site located on Cai Tai Island. Situated just above sea level, the cave reveals a collection of ancient stalactites and stalagmites set within pristine natural surroundings, offering a calm and unhurried start to the day.
The itinerary then continues to Titov Island. Upon arrival, guests may spend time swimming or relaxing on the sandy beach, or choose to hike to the summit, where panoramic views extend across Ha Long Bay and its surrounding limestone formations.
Later in the day, the cruise moves on to the Tung Sau area, an isolated region of Ha Long Bay known for its calm waters and pearl-farming heritage. Time is scheduled for kayaking in this private area, allowing guests to explore the tranquil setting at water level.
As the afternoon draws on, guests return on board for a fruit-carving demonstration held in the restaurant. Guided by the ship’s chef, the session unfolds against the backdrop of Ha Long Bay as the light softens toward sunset.
DAY 3 - HALONG BAY
The final full day of the Bhaya Legend cruise begins with a visit to Sung Sot Cave, the largest cave in Ha Long Bay. Covering approximately 10,000 square meters and connected by a 500-meter paved passageway, the cave features an extensive system of stalactites and stalagmites, revealing formations shaped over thousands of years.
The journey continues to Luon Cave, a water cave accessible only by traditional rowing boats. Passing beneath limestone arches, guests explore the enclosed lagoon and observe the intricate karst formations reflected on the calm surface of the water.
Returning on board, guests are invited to unwind with Bhaya’s complimentary herbal foot bath. Prepared from medicinal plants sourced from Vietnam’s Northwest region and blended with mineral salts, activated carbon, and natural herbs such as ginger, mint, and cinnamon, this traditional treatment is designed to ease muscle fatigue and encourage restful sleep.
As evening approaches, the cruise concludes the day with a squid-fishing experience on board. Guided by the crew, guests can learn local techniques and enjoy a relaxed and sociable atmosphere on the bay.
DAY 4 - HALONG BAY - HANOI
Cruise Disembarkation: 10:00 AM
(*) If you book a return transfer to Hanoi or Noi Bai Airport, you will arrive in central Hanoi/ the airport at around 1:30 - 2:30 PM (depending on traffic conditions and the type of transport). Please take these times into consideration when booking your onward flight, train, or bus to your next destination.
The final morning on board begins with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises over Ha Long Bay, offering a calm and refreshing start to the day amid the UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
The cruise then proceeds to Dau Go Island for the last shore excursion. Guests first explore Thien Cung Cave, located 25 meters above sea level and accessed through a narrow, jungle-covered entrance. Inside, the cave opens into a richly decorated chamber of stalactites and stalagmites shaped like mythical figures, giving rise to its name, Thien Cung Cave - “Heavenly Palace.”
The visit continues to nearby Dau Go Cave, the largest grotto in Ha Long Bay. Its expansive chambers, dramatic limestone formations, and traces of historical significance provide insight into both the geological evolution and cultural history of the bay.
