Route Map
DAY 1 - HANOI - HALONG BAY
Cruise Departure: 12:00 PM
(*) If you book a transfer from Hanoi, transportation will start between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, depending on your pick-up location. The drive to Halong usually takes around 2.5 hours.
In case you want to schedule the Halong cruise on the same day of landing at Noi Bai airport, the flight landing time should be around 6:00 - 7:00 AM at the latest (and earlier if it's an international flight and you need to go through customs).
The first day of the Bhaya Legend journey begins with the cruise heading toward Me Cung Cave, located on Lom Bo Island, approximately 25 meters above sea level and southwest of Titov Island. Upon arrival, guests visit the cave and move through its maze-like chambers, where ancient stalactites and stalagmites reveal the geological character of Ha Long Bay. From the cave entrance, elevated views open out across the emerald waters and surrounding limestone formations.
The itinerary then continues to Luon Cave, a water cave accessible only by traditional rowing boats. Guests travel through the cave’s narrow passage, where calm waters reflect the karst walls and subtle changes in light highlight the limestone structures along the way.
Later in the afternoon, the experience returns on board with the MasterChef “Ha Long Bay Edition” activity. Guests are invited to take part in preparing authentic Vietnamese dishes and observe a fruit-carving demonstration by the onboard chefs, set against the natural backdrop of Ha Long Bay as the light shifts toward sunset.
As evening falls, the day concludes with squid fishing on board. Guests join the crew to try traditional techniques used by local fishermen, sharing a relaxed and social moment before the vessel settles for the night.
DAY 2 - HALONG BAY - LAN HA BAY
The second day of the Bhaya Legend journey begins at Cua Van Floating Village, a long-established community where generations of fishing families have lived on the water. Upon arrival, guests explore the village by kayak or traditional rowing boat operated by local residents, passing floating homes and visiting the Cua Van Floating Culture Center while observing daily life shaped by the rhythms of Ha Long Bay.
The cruise then continues to Tien Ong Cave, a lesser-known and quieter site located on Cai Tai Island. Situated just above sea level, the cave features an array of ancient stalactites and stalagmites set within pristine surroundings, offering a glimpse into the bay’s natural formations and geological history.
Later in the day, the itinerary moves on to the Trinh Nu area, which includes Trinh Nu Cave and a secluded beach bordered by crystal-clear water. Time is scheduled for kayaking along the shoreline or visiting the cave, known for its sunlight-filled interior and extensive stalactite formations, allowing guests to unwind in a calmer part of the bay.
As the day draws to a close, guests return on board to relax with Bhaya’s complimentary herbal foot bath. Prepared with medicinal plants from Vietnam’s Northwest region and infused with mineral salts, activated carbon, and natural herbs such as ginger, mint, and cinnamon, the treatment helps ease muscle fatigue and supports a restful evening on board.
DAY 3 - HALONG BAY - HANOI
Cruise Disembarkation: 10:00 AM
(*) If you book a return transfer to Hanoi or Noi Bai Airport, you will arrive in central Hanoi/ the airport at around 1:30 - 2:30 PM (depending on traffic conditions and the type of transport). Please take these times into consideration when booking your onward flight, train, or bus to your next destination.
The final morning on board begins amid the limestone scenery of Ha Long Bay. As the day breaks, guests are invited to join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, offering a gentle start to the morning while the bay gradually comes to life under the early light.
Following the morning activity, the itinerary continues with an excursion to Titov Island. Upon arrival, guests may spend time swimming or relaxing on the sandy beach, or choose to hike to the island’s summit, where panoramic views extend across Ha Long Bay and its surrounding limestone formations.
After returning on board, preparations are made for the conclusion of the journey. Check-out and cruise disembarkation take place at 10:00 AM, marking the end of the Bhaya Legend voyage.
