Felt completely away from the crowds
Most people do Halong as a rushed overnight, but pairing it with Yen Tu gives the journey a whole different rhythm. The design details in both places are stunning - handcrafted wood, subtle heritage motifs, and zero commercial rush. On The Au Co, our guide timed excursions so well that when we kayaked around the lagoons, we were practically the only boat there. Between the sunrise Tai Chi on the top deck and the quiet night at Yen Tu, we left feeling completely restored.
2 nights were perfect!
The welcome onto the ship was wonderful and very fun! The room was spacious and very clean! It was our honeymoon so they made swans and put rose petals in the bed which was wonderful! The bathroom was also large enough to accommodate us both! The food was excellent the entire time and we loved the fresh oysters for dinner!! The excursions were fun and it was the right choice to do 2 nights as it was much more relaxing than everyone else who did 1 night! Thank you to all the crew but the few names we have remembered are John, Allan, Tracy, Elijah, Waayji.

Cruising with Bhaya Cruises was an amazing experience. My family joined a 3-day, 2-night Halong Bay tour with highlights including kayaking through the rock formations, exploring a cave, and swimming at one of the beaches. A fantastic 2-night holiday on Ha Long Bay with Au Co Luxury Cruise and one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. Although the weather was cooler than expected for February, the crew, accommodations, service, and tours more than made up for it. A magical stay
We stayed 2 nights in March. It was an unforgettable experience. The beauty of the site breathtaking, the boat very comfortable, with a charming vintage side, delicious cuisine, kind and competent staff. We were able to visit the Sung Sot Cave, kayak in incredible places, with our guide John, full of humor and attention. We highly recommend.
Bliss and luxury
I have done this 2 night cruise on the Au Co boat in 2017 and now again in 2026. Absolutely fabulous experiences both times which is why I booked again! Buffet breakfast, 5 course dinners, superb food and SO MUCH OF IT. Beautiful friendly and helpful staff. Everything about this experience is just pure bliss and luxury. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities including cycling, touring the caves, seeing moneys(!!), kayaking. Can’t more highly recommend
Cruising in style with The Au Co
The Auco boat is very beautiful and I believe we somehow had the best and biggest room, right at the front of the boat with a big private balcony and lovely furniture (ask for room 217). The shore excursion to Cat Ba island was super, make sure to pick the biking option, not too hard and a real highlight for us. Most of all the crew are truly superb. Food very good, nice Happy Hour and overall it looked like the best boat out there. Highly recommend the Bhaya boat line, and the Auco boat in particular.
Honeymoon Tour
The staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and engaging throughout the trip. For our honeymoon we were welcomed with a bottle of rose & beautifully made bed in our suite. We especially liked going to Lan Ha Bay and the views from the speedboat to Cat Ba National Park. The number of days and nights were perfect and would recommend this cruise to anyone looking to see Halong Bay.

For bookings under the Non-Refundable Rate with One-Time Reschedule, guests may change the cruise date once, where eligible, subject to real-time availability. The new cruise date must fall within the applicable travel period. Any applicable price difference for the new cruise date will be charged. Inclement weather, tide levels and operating conditions at sea may force changes in cruise itinerary and schedule at any time. Kayaking and swimming excursions, in particular, may be canceled due to rough weather.
Cruise offers fusion cuisine: international, seafood and Vietnamese. Please advise Bhaya Cruises at least one (01) week ahead of departure about any specific food preferences, dietary restrictions or food allergies.
Port authorities insist on advance registration including full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, and passport number. At check-in, a valid passport is required. Port authority may deny boarding if these conditions are not met.
